In May, 2008, I built a site-specific installation at the PKM Gallery Beijing space. The interior was completely wrapped up with the ubiquitous red, white and blue striped plastic tarpelain material that blankets much of China’s evolving urban landscape, transforming the gallery into a circus-like construction site with a market economy inspired sense of impermanence.
